CONFLICT MATERIALS INFORMATION – SUPPLY CHAIN DUE DILIGENCE
D&L Oil Tools, as a privately held company, is aware that on August 22, 2012, the SEC adopted final rules on conflict minerals reporting, pursuant to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act. D&L Oil Tools understands that “Conflict Materials” are minerals mined in conditions where armed conflict and human rights abuses occur. Commonly used are 4 minerals (3TG): Tungsten, Tantalum, Tin and Gold that are mined in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its surrounding countries.
D&L Oil Tools shares your commitment to avoid contributing to human rights violations in the DRC and its surrounding countries, and provides this statement to address possible concerns about complying with the SEC’s regulations on “Conflict Materials” adopted in August 2012.
D&L Oil Tools has performed due diligence in surveying our material suppliers and can confirm that as a result of this survey none of our suppliers report sourcing of any Conflict Materials from the focused region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its surrounding countries.
